New Year & Updates:

Before I share these updates, I want to start by saying how deeply grateful I am for the families, couples, and individuals who continue to trust me year after year. Your loyalty, referrals, patience, and belief in my work are the reason Leanna Faye Photography LLC exists the way it does today. I don’t take that lightly, ever. This community has allowed me to grow not only as a photographer, but as an artist and a human, and I am endlessly thankful for every single one of you.

2026 will be a year of growth and evolution for Leanna Faye Photography LLC as I branch further into fine art photography and dedicate more time to the creative projects I deeply care about. With that comes a few important changes that I want to share sincerely and transparently.

Beginning in January, my goal is to release the entire 2026 calendar of Mini Sessions and Micro-Minis. While weather or unexpected events may require some flexibility, the year will be fully planned so you can book ahead with confidence.

Micro-Minis are to fundraise. This is what they're created for. Micro-Minis will be limited... so I’ll be offering a small number of traditional Mini Sessions as well. The Mini Sessions will be longer than Micro-Minis, include more images, and give us a little more time to create something special as Micro is there to just be a quick "point & shoot" with props.

Mini Sessions include (20-30 minutes long):

-Bluebonnet Minis

-Valentine's Day Couples

-Beach Minis

-Mother's Day Minis

-Fall Family Minis

-Christmas (In Studio) Minis

-Headshots

Micro-Mini Sessions include (5-10 mins long; quick photos, mostly for kids):

-Easter

-Mother's Day

-Lemonade Stand (summer)

-Kindergarten Graduates (w/ robe)

-Back to School (School Supplies Drive)

-Christmas (Toy Drive)

For those who want more dedicated time, professional touch ups/edits, more flexibility, full access to me, helping with wardrobes and access to dates outside the mini calendar, premium sessions will continue to be the best option. Here's more details about the session types (below).

Pricing Increase 2026

I want to say this with compassion: pricing will be increasing in 2026...

not just for minis, but for premium sessions as well.

I’ve gone back and forth on this, and it’s truly not a decision I make lightly. I’m sorry I have to raise pricing, but I’ve been extremely busy the past year, and it took a toll on my stress and the time I have for other important parts of my life. My goal for 2026 is to work with more intention, less chaos, and create higher-quality art without burning out.

Costs everywhere are rising, and for the sake of my family and my well-being, I have to adjust as well.

I still deeply care about serving families who may not have the means for larger sessions, which is why I will continue offering limited minis throughout the year. But because of my reduced availability, if no minis are open, full sessions will follow the updated premium pricing.

If you’d like to stay updated on session releases and announcements, the best way is through my email newsletters. These will continue consistently throughout the year. You can sign up using the link below, and please remember to check your spam and promotions folders since I can’t control where emails land.

Important Policy Updates Beginning January 2026

Please note: You must pay your booking fee at the time of booking. There will be no more $50-$100 Non Refundable Booking Deposits, but I will take full price upfront, especially for mini sessions.

I say this with the utmost kindness...

I’ve had too many situations this year where unpaid spots caused confusion or stress, and I want to prevent that going forward.

I want to share these updates gently and honestly, not to be strict, but because I’ve learned this year how important it is to protect my time, my creativity, and my boundaries. I’ve had many moments where I felt walked over, overwhelmed, or taken advantage of, and these changes are meant to prevent that so I can continue showing up fully for my clients.

Starting in January, I will be sharing the images I create for marketing, portfolio building, and promotional purposes. A signed release is required to photograph you and your children, and beginning in 2026 (unless you’ve already signed one prior), there won’t be exceptions for opting out of sharing on Social Media and other platforms. Sharing my work is how clients discover me, it is my advertising. If this makes you uncomfortable, I completely respect that, but I may not be the photographer that aligns with your needs. I want to be upfront because I never want anyone to feel surprised or disappointed later.

I’m also making an update to my editing policies. I pour days of intention, love, and detail into every gallery. My editing style is a huge part of who I am as an artist. When filters or heavy edits are placed over my work, it no longer reflects my vision or the quality I strive for. While you receive digital files, I retain the rights to the images, so I kindly ask that no additional edits or filters be applied. (Cropping is absolutely okay!) If this isn't followed and you were warned, I will not take you as a client again.

If you ever need a revision or something feels off, please tell me, I will always be happy to adjust anything you need.

I'll say again: If this doesn't align with your needs, then I am not the photographer for you.

These updates aren’t about restricting you... they’re about honoring my craft, my time, my mental health, and the energy I want to continue pouring into every session so I can better serve you!

Whether you’ve booked one session with me or have been standing by my side for years, please know that I see you, I value you, and I’m endlessly thankful for the trust you place in me. Your continued support allows me to create work with integrity, intention, and heart, and I truly would not be here without you. I'm so so excited to work with you all again this 2026 year!

Best,

Leanna Cox
