Personality Portraits: Capturing Who Your Child Really Is
As parents, we take so many photos of our kids as they grow. But how often do we truly capture their personality? The little quirks, the giggles, the serious faces, the silly moments, the confidence, the shyness, the sparkle that makes them them. That’s exactly why I created my new Personality Portrait Sessions.
These sessions are designed for children from sitting age all the way to senior graduates. Every stage of childhood and adolescence deserves to be remembered, not just how they looked, but who they were in that moment.
Quick, Fun, and Stress-Free
Personality Portraits are short and sweet, lasting just 15–30 minutes. This keeps things fun and relaxed, especially for little ones with short attention spans. There’s no pressure to “perform.” Instead, I guide your child through natural prompts that bring out their genuine expressions and emotions.
Each session is $100, making it an easy and meaningful way to update portraits every year as your child grows and changes.
Clean, Classic, and Colorful
I primarily photograph these portraits on a white backdrop because it creates a timeless, clean look that keeps the focus on your child. But I also absolutely love working with color. Pops of color bring energy, joy, and personality into your images.

The 9-Grid Personality Series
One of my favorite parts of these sessions is the 9-grid personality series. This collection of nine different expressions and moments tells a beautiful story about your child. It showcases their personality in a way that a single image simply can’t.

I personally have one of my son from years ago, and I am still completely obsessed with it. Watching how much he’s grown and changed makes it even more special. For senior graduates, these sessions are a unique and modern alternative to traditional portraits.
